Overview:  Elkhorn Ridge was first planted in 1999 entirely to Pinot noir. The vineyard is characterized by having very tight vine spacing (6'x3.5') with a plant count of 2,074 plants per acre. This tight spacing, together with the fact that the vineyard utilizes 3 different rootstocks and 5 different Pinot noir clones (Pommard, Dijon 113, 114, 115, and 777) and is dry farmed, gives us the opportunity to produce superior Pinot noir having finese, structure and elegance.
